In 2020, Selfie Mode’s business owner and sole proprietor Katrina travelled to Calgary to visit a studio with a similar concept. Seeing the opportunity to market a unique space in Ontario, she drew on her inspiration to launch Selfie Mode Niagara in 2021.

Katrina has been able to utilize her educational background in Business and Human Resources from Niagara College to make Selfie Mode Niagara a destination hotspot.

With a keen eye for aesthetics, Katrina, along with the help of her partner Simon, has designed her own photoshoot sets. These self-interactive sets are geared towards youth and pop culture, and provide fun, colourful and lively experiences that every user will enjoy!

As a huge supporter of community development, Katrina has worked with a variety of local artists, including tattoo artist and muralist, Dan Kozina; multi-disciplinary artist, Andrea Letourneau from Letourneau Arts; and Niagara-based artists Tessa Chisholm and Laura Wilkie.

Even though we’ve transitioned to a mobile photography company, we’re committed to continuing to use local artists for inspiration and artwork!

Our new Selfie Mode On The Road will better serve our community by allowing us to bring our sets directly to your special event! Give your guests the opportunity to showcase their playful side with one of our premium custom backdrops.

What payment methods are accepted?

We accept all major credit cards on our online booking system.

Can you deliver outside of Niagara?

Yes! We can deliver anywhere in the Niagara region or GTA (extra charges may apply).

How long can we have the rental for?

Our packages start with a daily rental, but if you need it for longer we can work with you for your event.

Do you have a permanent studio?

We closed our permanent studio in December 2023 to better serve our community through our new Selfie Mode On The Road.

Do you have a photographer?

We have wonderful photographers available at extra charge if you’re looking for high-quality photos. Contact us to learn more.

Do we take our own photos?

Yes! These backdrops are ideal for you and your guests to take selfies or photos of each other. They are designed to make it easy to take amazing photos.

Do you offer digital photo booths?

We are proud to now be offering digital photo booths to our clients. Please contact us for a quote.

What is your cancellation policy?

Our 50% deposit is non-refundable, however if you cancel at least 48 hours before the event there are no extra charges.

What are your hours?

Event hours are Friday to Sunday 11am-11pm, after hours available upon request
